2018 New Colombo Plan Scholarship winners announced

Australia’s best and brightest undergraduates have been awarded scholarships under the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan which gives them the opportunity to live, study and gain work experience in the Indo-Pacific region in 2018.

We are pleased to announce that three Curtin University students have been awarded the 2018 NCP scholarships.

The students, Mr Matthew Biletic, 20, from the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and Mr Sean Curran, 22, and Mr Bradley New, 23, from the Faculty of Humanities, were among the 120 Scholars selected from 33 universities across Australia to study, work and live in the Indo-Pacific region as part of the New Colombo Plan Scholarship Program.

Peel Region Scholarship applications are now open and close on 16 March 2018

Curtin and former Peel Health Foundation launched new scholarships for medical or health related students in the Peel region who are experiencing financial hardship.

There would be four scholarships available in 2018. Both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students are eligible to apply.

Benefits include a cash payment of $6,000 p.a. for up to one year. Applications are currently open and close on 16 March 2018.

Undertaking a Bachelor of Science (Computing) and Bachelor of Commerce (Business Information Technology)?

Quadrant Energy Scholarships

The Scholarships Office is pleased to advise that applications for the Quadrant Energy Scholarships 2018 are now open!

There are 3 categories of scholarships available as below:
•   Engineering - total value of $8,000 p.a
•   Geoscience - total value of $8,000 p.a
•   Women in Engineering - total value of $10,000 p.a

All 3 categories of scholarship are awarded based on a combination of academic merit, responses in candidates application, and interview performance.

In previous years, submissions for all 3 categories have been extremely competitive, therefore, we encourage potential applicants to start on their submissions as early as possible.

Work experience is part of the scholarship, so it is a great opportunity for students who are looking for vacation or work experience, or networking.
