(WASM) Denis Yan Scholarship

Description: The scholarship is for 4th year metallurgy students to do a fourth year project in Mineral Processing. The Project Criteria is for Mineral Processing projects of any subject but the topic and student is approved (selected) by Denis Yan in consultation with the staff in charge of Mineral Processing and the Head of Metallurgy. Restricted to one scholarship per year but can be open to 2 if projects are considered worthy. The scholarship is to support the student for living expenses and not for the project itself. The value of the scholarship is $2,000 (the value that the CRC in sustainable development has been giving to final year projects)

Eligibility: To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgy) 4th year.

The Project Criteria is for Mineral Processing projects of any subject but the topic and student should be approved by Denis Yan in consultation with the staff in charge of Mineral Processing and the Head of Metallurgy. Topics may be suggested from time to time.
