Curtin Canning College Engineering International Bursary 2010 - OPEN

Description: The Curtin Canning College Engineering International Bursary is available to international students enrolling at Curtin University of Technology in 2010 who have demonstrated a high-level academic achievement in their studies at Canning College, and obtained a Tertiary Entrance Ranking of >95 or equivalent in 2009. One Bursary will be awarded in each of the areas of Chemical, Civil, Electrical & Computer and Mechanical Engineering.

Eligibility: • Be a Canning College student in 2009
• Be an international student and hold a valid Student Visa – Higher Education (Subclass 573)
• Have received a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) in an eligible Engineering undergraduate course at Curtin University of Technology in 2010
• Commencing the first year of study at Curtin University of Technology, in an eligible course in 2010
• Have selected Curtin University of Technology through TISC as a first preference to undertake an eligible Engineering undergraduate degree;
• Receive a TER or equivalent of 95.00 or above

Value: The Bursary will provide $1,000 per annum for the normal expected duration of the degree

Criteria: The Bursary(s) will be awarded by a selection panel using the following criteria:

• 2009 ATAR (TER)
• Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) in an eligible undergraduate course at Curtin University of Technology in 2010
• Acceptance of an offer of a place at Curtin University of Technology.
Guidelines: Documentation required to accept a Curtin Canning College Engineering International Bursary:

• Proof of Citizenship and visa status (Birth Certificate, Passport or Citizenship Certificate)
• Proof of attendance at Canning College (Certificates)
