Every Curtin scholarship has a type (either undergraduate or postgraduate), a scholarship base (merit or need) and an association with one or more Curtin Faculties. In order for you to receive scholarship email alerts, you must therefore tick at least one scholarship type, base and Faculty. The more boxes you tick, the more scholarship alerts you will receive. Here's a bit more information about each criteria:
Type of scholarship: You must tick at least one box. An undergraduate scholarship is for students studying (or about to study) an award course usually leading to a bachelor degree. A postgraduate scholarship is for students that have completed an undergraduate qualification such as a bachelor degree and are continuing (or planning to continue) their studies by completing an award such as a graduate certificate, graduate diploma, master or doctorate.
Scholarship base: You must tick at least one box.
Merit based: (Undergraduate) scholarships are based on academic performance, which could be high school achievements (such at TER) and/or academic results at University (based on course weighted average).
Merit based: (Postgraduate) for higher degree by research scholarships, merit will be determined by level of honours, course weighted average for postgraduate diploma and masters, or for conference and journal publications.
Need based scholarships are based on low socio-economic status and/or financial need and/or educational disadvantage (for example from a rural & remote area) and/or personal circumstances.
Curtin Faculty: You must tick at least one box. Faculties are the primary academic divisions in which teaching and research are conducted. There are five faculties that make up Curtin: Centre for Aboriginal Studies, Curtin Business School, Health Sciences, Humanities and Science & Engineering.

Don't worry, the information you provide will be used only for Scholarships Email Alert! and will not be passed on. Here's a bit more information about each field:
First name: This is an optional field. If you provide your first name then we can personalise the emails which are sent to you. If you do not have a first name, please fill your first name like your last name.
Last name: This is an optional field. If you provide your last name then we can personalise the emails which are sent to you.
Email address: This is a required field. We require an email address so that we know where to send the scholarship email alerts. You can update this address at any time. We ask you to enter it twice in case you've made any typos.
Nationality: This is a required field. Some scholarships are only available to students of particular nationalities.
Gender: This is a required field. Although most scholarships are available to both males and females, there are some which are specifically for males only or females only. If you do not wish to specify, please select 'Not Specified' and you will receive scholarships relating to all genders, male only and female only.
Status: This is a required field. Some scholarships are only available to prospective (future) Curtin students, while others are only for current Curtin students.
