Setting up a scholarship
Universities exist so that individuals can explore and develop their abilities for the long-term benefit of society as a whole. Within this context, sponsoring a scholarship makes a difference.
Sponsors can be individuals, families, businesses, academic or community groups. The common purpose of scholarships is to reward and support Curtin University students in their studies.
The Scholarships Office provides scholarships that reward academic achievement and provide support to those whose socio-economic, cultural, geographic or personal circumstances may affect their capacity to succeed at University. Scholarships are available for both future and current undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Scholarships policy
The policy governing the creation and administration of scholarships at Curtin can be found in the Scholarships and Financial Assistance Manual.
