About this scholarship

Two ARC (Australian Research Council) PhD scholarships are funded via the ARC discovery project “Modelling, Design and Development of a Novel Wave-Energy Converter”. The purpose of these scholarships is to support outstanding students in mechanical design and fluid-structure interaction, systems and control to contribute to the design and control parts of the newly proposed wave-energy converter.

Scholarship Details

Any HDR students wishing to study in the engineering field.

·       Local and international students

·       Full-time enrolment

·       Strong background in mechanical design and fluid-structure interaction or in systems and control

·       Familiar with wave energy conversion

Enrolment Requirements

Recipients must complete all the milestones and remain enrolled on a full time basis for the duration of the scholarship
