2024 HDR Scholarship – MPhil Scholarship on the Study of Precast Reinforced Concrete Culverts

About this scholarship

The candidate will work on a research project on the durability of precast reinforced concrete culvert structures.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to engage with an industry internship during their HDR studies.

This scholarship provides the tuition fee and a living stipend of $35,000 p.a. pro rata indexed, based on full-time studies, for up to a maximum of 2 years.

Scholarship Details

1. Full time enrolment, for both domestic and international students
2. Minimum required: Bachelor degree (the first class honours or upper second class honours) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related fields.  
3. The language requirement (IELTS: Overall 6.5, Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening 6.0; or TOEFL, internet based Overall 79, Reading 13, Listening 13, Speaking 18 and Writing 21) is provided at https://study.curtin.edu.au/applying/english-language-requirements/accepted-english-proficiency-tests/. 4. Applicants with technical publications and research experiences in concrete, are preferred.

Enrolment Requirements

Recipients must complete their milestone 1 within 3 months of enrolment and remain enrolled on a full time basis for the duration of the scholarship
