About this scholarship
This scholarship is provided by Curtin University in support of an Australian Research Council grant titled: ’Transforming Australian Cities through net zero corridors’. The scholarship is to support a student attain research skills in the fields spatial planning and sustainability.
Upon successful completion of an examination the candidate will be conferred a PhD. Scholarship selection will be based on merit within an appropriate disciplinary background.

This scholarship provides a living stipend of $35,000.00 p.a. pro rata indexed, based on full-time studies, for up to a maximum of 3 years
Scholarship Details

- Australian citizen preferred, but not essential
- Full-time enrolment
- Show an active commitment to sustainability and competence in urban planning / urban design
- Excellent writing ability and good interpersonal skills
- GIS &/or architectural visualisation skills will be looked upon favourably, but not essential
- Successful recipients must also not be in receipt of any other scholarship.

Enrolment Requirements
Recipients must complete their milestone 1 within 6 month of enrolment and remain enrolled on a full time basis for the duration of the scholarship
