About this scholarship

The purpose of the Curtin Electrical and Electronic Engineering Scholarship (Scholarship) is to support and empower female and non-binary future leaders in the Electrical Engineering field, and to provide a support network throughout the scholarship tenure where students can become part of the ICRAR-Curtin community.

About ICRAR-Curtin

ICRAR-Curtin is Curtin University’s link to the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) (a joint venture with The University of Western Australia, funded by the State Government of Western Australia) and is based at the Curtin Institute of Radio Astronomy (CIRA).

ICRAR-Curtin’s activities draw together academic research and professional staff from a variety of science, engineering, and computing disciplines to address unique and demanding challenges in radio astronomy. As a multi-disciplinary research institute, ICRAR-Curtin is engaged in a range of projects involving or motivated by radio astronomy and is the lead organisation and operator of the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA), the low frequency precursor for the international Square Kilometre Array (SKA), and is, in turn, a key participant in the SKA Project.
