The SUT Marine Renewable Energy Scholarship (the Scholarship) is funded by the generosity of Aurora Offshore Engineering. It will be awarded to the applicant with the most potential to make a significant contribution to the development of marine renewable energy through their studies, research or career ambitions

Applicants must be in a course which embraces Marine Science; Underwater Technology or Offshore Engineering. They must be in their last two years of their undergraduate degree or otherwise in post graduate studies in 2026.

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the Scholarship:

• Enrolled full-time in first semester 2026 at an Australian University
• Must not be working full-time in first semester 2026
• Must be entering into the final two years of their Undergraduate Course in 2026; or undertaking a post graduate course in 2026;
• May qualify for/ hold other scholarships

Scholarships open 25/06/2025 and close on 13/08/2025. The application form needs completion along with a copy of your academic results and an academic reference is optional. 
Interviews will be held in October for short listed candidates.

Winners need to show proof of enrolment in first semester 2026
