About this scholarship
A PhD scholarship in Electrochemistry is funded by the Australian Research Council through a Discovery Project entitled “Molecular Engineering of Locally Concentrated Ionic Liquid Electrolytes”. The purpose of this scholarship is to train a student in experimental electrochemistry techniques to enable their employability in academia, industry or other areas requiring such research skills. The student will be involved in research that leads to publications, oral and poster presentations, and a PhD dissertation.

This scholarship provides a living stipend of $37,500 p.a. pro rata indexed, based on full-time studies, for up to a maximum of 3 years.
Scholarship Details

Students must have completed a BSc (Hons) in Australia or a Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering).
- Full-time enrolment
- Successful recipients must also not be in receipt of any other scholarship.

Enrolment Requirements
Recipients must complete their milestone 1 within 6 months of enrolment and remain enrolled on a full time basis for the duration of the scholarship.
