This Bursary provides a one-off fee remission against the tuition fees to the value of AUD$1,000.

• All undergraduate degree course or postgraduate degree by coursework

This bursary is only for:

• International, full fee paying and non-sponsored student; and
• Are enrolled in a Curtin undergraduate degree course or postgraduate degree by coursework; and
• Will be studying at a Curtin Western Australian campus (WA Campus) commencing in a study period, anytime from July - December 2025; and
• Have not been admitted or issued with a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) when this offer is issued to you

Please note that this bursary:

• Is a contribution to your course tuition fees, of the amount of AUD$1,000.
• A one-time amount of AUD$1,000 will be paid into your student fee account after the census date for that study period (First Period Credit). In the second study period of your Course, your total Course fees for that period will be further reduced by the First Period Credit
• Cannot be transferred to a Curtin campus or partner outside WA, or to another university.
• If your citizenship changes during the Bursary period, Curtin will only apply this Bursary to the units you completed as an international student.
• Cannot be withdrawn or refunded in cash. If you withdraw after the census date of the first study period, the First Period Credit will be withdrawn from your student account.
• If you do not meet these Terms & Conditions, Curtin may revoke the Bursary effective immediately, following which you will be required to pay any outstanding fees for your Course to Curtin.

To accept this scholarship offer, you must pay the full Deposit amount set out in your Letter of Offer for the first study period of your Course.

As there are limited number of Bursary available, Curtin reserves the right to cease offering this Bursary if you do not accept by the due date stated on the Letter of Offer. You will be formally notified if the Bursary is no longer valid or withdrawn. 

There is no separate scholarship application required. Students are invited to apply for the Curtin course through one of Curtin University registered education agents OR apply directly to Curtin online 

All eligible applications to Curtin are automatically assessed for the Bursary. Successful applicants will see the Bursary offer in the Applicant Portal which must be accepted by agreeing to the terms and conditions.

To prevent the scholarship being revoked, the recipient:

• Must maintain enrolment as an international full fee paying and non-sponsored student in your first study period.
• Must not defer the Bursary beyond 2025.
• Must not be on Leave of Absence or Withdrawn from your Course in your first study period.
• Must abide by Curtin’s policies and procedures, Student Charter and not be found guilty of serious misconduct.
• Cannot breach the scholarship conditions outlined in the acceptance document.
