About this scholarship

This scholarship is part of the CSIRO Next Generation Graduate Program, delivered in partnership with WA Police and Curtin University. It supports Honours and Master’s (RTP-eligible) students to undertake research in data science and artificial intelligence with real-world applications in law enforcement and public safety. The program aims to build Australia’s future AI workforce by providing students with industry-connected training and research experience in national priority areas.

This scholarship provides a total of $30,000 for Master’s students and $10,000 for Honours students, paid as a one-year cash stipend based on full-time enrolment.

Scholarship Details

Students enrolled in an Honours or Master’s program in Computing, Data Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related disciplines 

• Domestic student 
• Full-time enrolment 
• Meet the requirements for CSIRO Student affiliate onboarding where applicable (e.g., satisfy National Police Check)
