About this scholarship
The Harts Financial Solutions Scholarship in Financial Planning (Scholarship) has been established to support and encourage high-achieving students in the undergraduate Finance and Financial Planning cohort to help them excel in their studies and future careers.

The Scholarship will provide the following support for up to one year:
- A total value of $5,000 paid as a cash stipend of $2,500 per semester. The amount can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards education related expenses.
- Guaranteed paid internship with Harts Financial Solutions.
Scholarship Details
- Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Financial Planning Double Major)
Double degrees will not be considered.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the Scholarship:
- Enrolled full-time or part-time (minimum 50 credits) in the final year of an eligible course in Semester 1, 2026
- Have a minimum course weighted average (CWA) of 70
- Not in receipt of any other scholarships that are from the same funding source and/or for the same purpose
Application process
Step 1: Access application form
- Application form can be accessed via the ‘My Studies’ tab in OASIS or via the ‘Apply Online’ button on the top right-hand side of this page
- If you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student and would like to be considered for this scholarship, as well as all equity and merit scholarships, we recommend that you apply for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship Program here (only one application form to complete)
Step 2: Complete
- Complete the application form online
- Application form can be saved at any point of the process
- Multiple scholarships can be applied for at one time

Step 3: Submit
- Closing date is listed at the top of the page and within the Scholarships Channel on OASIS
- Incomplete applications will not be assessed
- Once submitted, application status will change to submitted
Step 4: Receipt
- Application receipt will be sent to student email once application has been submitted
Step 5: Assessment
- Applications will be assessed by an assessment panel using the following criteria:
- Responses to questions in application form
- Academic merit
- Non-academic achievements
- Passion for course and vision for career
- Interview performance (for shortlisted applicants)
Step 6: Shortlist for Interview
- Shortlisted applicants will be sent an interview date and time via their student email in mid-March to early April
- Shortlisted applicants must be available for the designated interview time (25 March to 22 April)
Step 7: Outcome
- Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified of their outcome via the Scholarship Channel (Student OASIS) within 9 weeks of the scholarship closing date
Step 8: Acceptance
- Successful applicants must accept the terms and conditions via the Scholarship Channel (Student OASIS) by the lapse date

- Scholarship will be awarded if there are applicants of sufficient merit
Enrolment Requirements
Recipients must meet all of the following:
- Remain enrolled in initial course of study
- Maintain an enrolment of at least 50 credits per semester at Curtin University
- Maintain a course weighted average (CWA) of at least 70 each semester
- Pass all units attempted each semester
- Not be in receipt of any other scholarship from the same funding source and/or for the same purpose
