The Curtin Alumni Scholarship (the Scholarship) will provide a discount for Curtin alumni commencing an eligible postgraduate course in any study period within 2027. Eligible students will receive 15% off coursework tuition fees.

The Scholarship will provide the following support: 

• 15% off student tuition fees for 12 months (up to a maximum of 200 credits, commencing from the study period which the scholarship is offered for)

Please note:

• This scholarship does not cover your Student Services and Amenities Fees (SSAF) or any other expenses related to your studies (e.g. Student Services and Amenities Fees and Ancillary or incidental fees). You are liable for your SSAF each semester, along with any other expenses incurred for you to undertake your studies.
• The scholarship is not deferrable and will commence from the study period which the scholarship has been offered for
• Candidates must remain enrolled in their course for the duration of the scholarship tenure
• Leave of Absence (LOA) from the scholarship is not permitted, if a recipient takes a LOA after the initial study period, the scholarship will cease immediately

All full fee-paying Graduate Diploma or Masters by coursework postgraduate degrees in:

• Business and Law
• Humanities
• Science and Engineering
• Health Sciences

*Please note the following are excluded:

• Master of Architecture
• Master of Teaching
• Any other postgraduate coursework studies in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP)

Candidates must meet all of the following criteria to be considered for the Scholarship:

• Curtin Alumni (graduate of Curtin University) currently residing in Australia
• Commencing an eligible postgraduate course at Curtin University in any study period in 2027
• Apply for admission into an *eligible postgraduate course at Curtin within the Curtin course application timelines

Please note:

• Students undertaking studies via Open Universities Australia are not eligible for this scholarship
• Commonwealth Support Place courses are not eligible for this scholarship

• No scholarship application is required
• All candidates who receive a course offer will be automatically assessed for the Curtin Alumni Scholarship
• Scholarship discount will be applied before census date for the relevant study period

• Candidates must commence their course for the study period which the scholarship is offered for (this information will be included in your course offer letter)
• Deferral is not permitted, if a recipient does not commence their course in the study period which the scholarship is offered for, the scholarship will be lapsed
• Candidates must remain enrolled in their course for the duration of the scholarship tenure
• Leave of Absence (LOA) from the scholarship is not permitted, if a recipient takes a LOA after the initial study period, the scholarship will cease immediately
