About this scholarship
The Euroz Hartleys Financial Planning Scholarship (Scholarship) has been developed to support high-achieving students enrolled in the final year of the Finance and Financial Planning double major at Curtin University.
This prestigious scholarship supports high-achieving students in Financial Planning, with a preference for women, to encourage excellence and leadership in the field. It is designed to help students focus on their studies and career ambitions.

The Scholarship will provide the following support for up to a maximum of one year:
- A total value of up to $10,000 paid as a cash stipend of $5,000 per semester.
The amount can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards education related expenses.
Scholarship Details
Bachelor of Commerce, Finance and Financial Planning Double major
Double degrees of this course will not be considered.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered eligible for the Scholarship:
- Domestic student (Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or Permanent Humanitarian visa).
- Enrolled full-time (minimum 100 credits) in Semester 1, 2026.
- Enrolled in 3rd year or above in an eligible undergraduate course at Curtin University (double degrees excluded).
- Minimum course weighted average (CWA) of 70.
Application process
Step 1: Access application form
- Application form can be accessed via the ‘My Studies’ tab in OASIS or via the ‘Apply Online’ button on the top right-hand side of this page
- If you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student and would like to be considered for all scholarships (equity and merit) available in this round, we recommend that you apply for the "Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship Program".
Step 2: Complete
- Complete the application form online
- Application form can be saved at any point of the process
- Multiple scholarships can be applied for at one time

Step 3: Submit
- Closing date is listed at the top of the page and within the Scholarships Channel on OASIS
- Incomplete applications will not be assessed
- Once submitted, application status will change to submitted
Step 4: Receipt
- Application receipt will be sent to student email once application has been submitted
Step 5: Assessment
- Applications will be assessed by an assessment panel using the following criteria:
- Responses to questions in application form
- Academic merit
- Passion and vision
- Work experience or non-academic achievements (extracurricular and leadership)
- Preference will be given to Female applicants
- If you are eligible for a scholarship with an interview component, the scholarship office may contact you regarding an interview:
- Shortlisted applicants will be sent an interview date and time via their student email in late March - mid-April)
- Shortlisted applicants must be available for designated interview time (early April to mid-April)
Step 6: Shortlist for Interview
- Shortlisted applicants will be sent an interview date and time via their student email in late March - mid-April)

Step 7: Outcome
- All successful and unsuccessful applicants notified of their outcome via the Scholarships Channel (Student OASIS) within 9 weeks of the scholarship closing date
Step 8: Acceptance
- Successful applicants must accept the terms and conditions via the Scholarship Channel (Student OASIS) by the lapse date.
Please note:
- Scholarship will be awarded if there are applicants of sufficient need.
Enrolment Requirements
Recipients must meet all of the following:
- Remain enrolled in initial course of study.
- Maintain a full-time study load of at least 100 credits each semester at Curtin University.
- Maintain a CWA of at least 70 each semester.
- Pass all units attempted each semester.
- Not apply for or receive any other scholarships that are from the same funding source or for the same purpose.
