About this scholarship
The Curtin Indigenous Capability Cooperative (CICC) Travel Scholarship (Scholarship) supports Indigenous students to participate in Curtin University travel opportunities that may not otherwise be possible without financial assistance. By reducing financial barriers, it enables students to broaden their learning, gain practical insights, and build meaningful connections for their future careers.

The Scholarship will provide the following support:
- A one-off cash payment of up to $5,000.
The amount can be used by the recipient for the travel related expenses.
Scholarship Details
Any Undergraduate degree within the faculty of Business and Law, including double degrees.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered eligible for the Scholarship:
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
- Enrolled in a minimum of 50 credits in an eligible course at Curtin University in Semester 1, 2026.
- Intending on participating in the travel opportunities that will be planned and approved by the Faculty of Business and Law within 12 months of receiving the scholarship offer.
Application process
Step 1: Access online application form
- Application form can be accessed via the ‘My Studies’ tab in OASIS or via the ‘Apply Online’ button on the top right-hand side of this page
- Please note that this link will direct you to the general "Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship Program" application form. Once you submit your application, you will then be considered for all scholarships that you are eligible for in this round.
Step 2: Complete
- Complete the application form online
- Application form can be saved at any point of the process

Step 3: Submit
- Closing date is listed at the top of the page
- Incomplete applications will not be assessed
- Once submitted, application status will change to submitted
Step 4: Receipt
- Application receipt will be sent to student email once application has been submitted
Step 5: Assessment
- Applications will be assessed by an assessment panel using the following criteria:
- Responses to questions in application form
- Passion for course / vision for career
- How applicants benefit from this opportunity
Step 6: Outcome
- All successful and unsuccessful applicants notified of their outcome via the Scholarships Channel (Student OASIS) within 9 weeks of the scholarship closing date
Step 7: Acceptance
- Successful applicants must accept the terms and conditions via the Scholarship Channel (Student OASIS) by the deadline
Please note:
- Scholarship will be awarded if there are applicants of sufficient merit.
Enrolment Requirements
Recipients must meet all of the following:
- Maintain a minimum of 50 credits enrolment in an eligible course at Curtin University in semester 1, 2026
