About this scholarship
To recognize and encourage outstanding students to pursue studies to prepare them for a career in the forensic science profession, especially in firearm and toolmark identification and closely related areas.

Students enrolled in a university science degree program with the objective of a forensic science career can apply to receive a $2,000.00 (USD) scholarship award. The award is one-time only, but recipients are not prohibited from re-applying for future awards.
Entering third year or higher of a Bachelor's degree or any year in an advanced degree program. Half-time or greater, majoring in a natural, physical, or biological science.
Applicants must be entering their third year or higher of a Bachelor's degree or enrolled in any year in an advanced degree (MS, PhD, MD, or comparable) program, enrolled as a half-time student or greater, majoring in a natural, physical or biological science, minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 (75%+).

This is a one-time award. The student must be enrolled in an applicable program on or about 1 September of the award year.
